Why don't we offer tracts?
We used to have our own offset printing press and printed our own. When we joined the
faculty of Moody Bible Institute we did not have the space, time, or finances to continue.
Moody and Good News began printing some of my tracts and I did not need to.
You can purchase tracts from the American
Tract Society. View our links page
for other great sites.
What are your overhead expenses?
We have none. I get no salary or commission from any of my books or materials. All profit
goes to missions.
Is Sumner Wemp available for meetings?
Yes, I preach approximately every other weekend all over the country. Most of my ministry
is to challenge and motivate Christians get the gospel to EVERY person with whom they have
a moment of personal contact. Also, I speak a lot on prayer and especially Jabez's prayer.
It is so powerful. Another love I have is preaching at missions conferences. My main
passion is to speak to pastors and men.
What are Sumner's plans?
My plans are to keep on preaching 'til Jesus comes or I go. My only regret is that I did
not write more. Right now I have about four more books I would like to write. As of now I
write a regular column for the Biblical Evangelist. This is the fourth such paper in which
I have written a regular article.
Does Mrs. Wemp go to meetings?
Yes, she is an excellent teacher and women's speaker. She pioneered women's retreats, and
back in the sixties she had an annual women's retreat with 1000 women attending.
What does it cost to get Sumner Wemp to speak?
I have always gone on a free will offering basis or what ever way a group wants to do plus
expenses. Never have I demanded a certain amount. God provides.
Does he take a week of meetings?
No. Mostly I go for weekends -- Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. We have done this for forty
years and found them very fruitful if they are planned and promoted well.
